# One Click Distributor Link

A distributor link is one link for one of a fund's schemes. You create it once and share it with as many investors as you like. Each time an investor opens it, Glomo starts a new payment session for that scheme, credited to you, and the investor completes the fund's journey.

Use it when you want to post one link, for example in a message, an email campaign or your app, instead of creating a session per investor. To create a session for one known investor, see [Open payment sessions as a distributor](/capital-markets/distributor/set-up).

Read [Distributor](/capital-markets/distributor) first for what the relationship with a fund fixes.

## Before you start

- Distributor links are enabled for your business. Contact Glomo support to set it up.
- You have an active relationship with the fund, and the fund has enabled the scheme for you.
- You have your API key. See [Get started](/get-started).

A fund can also create a link for one of its own schemes, with the same call.

## How it works

1. **You create the link** on your server with [Create a distributor link](/api-reference/openapi/distributor_link/createdistributorlink). Glomo checks your relationship with the fund, the scheme and any amount you send, and returns the link `url`.
2. **You share the link** with investors. The link is on the fund's checkout domain.
3. **An investor opens the link.** The page shows the fund, the scheme and your name. When the investor starts, Glomo creates a new payment session for that investor, prefilled with the scheme, your ARN and the amount, if you set one. Every open starts its own session, so one link serves any number of investors.
4. **The investor completes the fund's journey:** KYC, payment, and the purchase. Your ARN is shown on the checkout and cannot be changed. The amount stays editable within the scheme's limits.

A link does not expire.

## 1. Create the link on your server

```curl
curl -X POST 'https://api.glomopay.com/api/v1/distributor-links' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_JWT_HERE>' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{
    "scheme_code": "SCH001",
    "amount": 500000
  }'
```

| Field  | Required  | Notes  |
|  --- | --- | --- |
| `scheme_code` | Yes | A scheme the fund has enabled for you. Matching ignores case and surrounding spaces. |
| `amount` | No | Prefills the amount, in cents of `USD`. It must be within the scheme's limits for a fresh purchase. The investor can change it. |
| `distributor_arn` | No | If you send it, it must be your ARN for that fund, with or without the fund's prefix. Left out, Glomo uses your ARN from the relationship. A fund creating its own link can send any ARN with its own prefix, as an editable prefill. |

The response:

```json
{
  "id": "shl_q6af9kKWKaXV4LH8XNVliBrc",
  "link_type": "payment_session",
  "url": "https://pay.example-fund.com/shared-link/shl_q6af9kKWKaXV4LH8XNVliBrc",
  "status": "active",
  "details": {
    "fund_name": "Example Fund",
    "scheme_code": "SCH001",
    "scheme_name": "Example Global Equity Fund",
    "plan": "regular",
    "distributor_name": "Example Distributor",
    "distributor_arn": "ARN-123456",
    "amount": 500000
  },
  "openings_count": 0,
  "created_at": "2026-10-09T10:30:00Z"
}
```

Keep the `id`; it identifies the link if you contact Glomo support about it.

## 2. Share the link

Send the link (`url`) to investors through any channel. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it where you would share a sign-up link, not a secret.
