Create quotes

Request

Create one or more pricing quotes for a payout or payin. Each quote locks an exchange rate and fee breakdown for fixed period. Provide exactly one of source_amount or destination_amount.

On a payin quote, pass split_ids to price the fee from your declared share of a dynamic pricing rule. See Dynamic Fee Split. A payment link or an order created from the quote inherits the quote's splits, so it must not send split_ids of its own. split_ids is rejected on a payout quote.

An account funding quote is a payin quote with payment_method.type: card and resource_type: account_funding. It takes no subtype, prices in the destination currency, and is the only quote an account funding order can be created from. See Add funds with a card.

The amount you intend to send, in the smallest unit of source_currency (cents for USD). 10000 is $100.00 when source_currency is USD. Provide exactly one of source_amount or destination_amount, not both.

The amount to be received, in the smallest unit of destination_currency (paise for INR, cents for USD). 882000 is ₹8,820.00 when destination_currency is INR. Provide exactly one of source_amount or destination_amount, not both.

The payment method details to price. pay_via_bank only supports the local_transfer subtype. card takes no subtype.

price_idstring

Payin only. The platform referral price to apply. When set, the quote's fee breakdown includes a referral_fee.

Payin only. The pricing splits to apply when quoting the fee. Sending split_ids with resource: payout returns a 400 Bad Request. A payment link or an order created from this quote inherits these splits, and must not send split_ids of its own.
